Using a wheelchair does not mean you have to stay at home. A stroll through the shopping street, a coffee on a terrace or choosing your own groceries: it gives energy and the feeling that you are in control. With the right care and aids, that stays possible.
Well prepared to go out
A lot goes well when the morning is calm. Our carers help with washing and dressing, with moving from bed to wheelchair and with getting ready to go outside. You start the day without rushing and without the risk of falling.
Aids and schemes
- Wheelchair: for long-term use you usually apply to your municipality, through the Wmo.
- Transport: the municipality can arrange Wmo transport for short trips in the region.
- Parking: you also apply for a disabled parking card at the municipality.
- Personal care and nursing at home: often covered by the Health Insurance Act (Zvw) or the Wlz, or arranged with a personal budget (pgb).

Familiar faces who know your wishes
At RytelZorg you work with a small, permanent team. We get to know your habits and how you like to be helped, and we fit the care around your day. We also look at what could be easier at home, such as thresholds or where your wheelchair stands, and think along with you.
