General Terms and Conditions – RytelZorg
Article 1 – Definitions
Client: The natural person receiving care services from RytelZorg.
Care Provider: RytelZorg, a provider of home care services in the Netherlands.
Agreement: The care agreement concluded between the client and RytelZorg.
Article 2 – Applicability
These general terms and conditions apply to all services provided by RytelZorg.
Article 3 – Provision of Care
RytelZorg provides professional home care services, including:
- Personal care
- Nursing
- Guidance and support
- Care coordination
The provision of care is conducted in accordance with applicable professional standards and Dutch laws and regulations.
Article 4 – Care Agreement
Care is provided on the basis of a written care agreement between the client and RytelZorg.
The care plan is established in consultation with the client and, where applicable, other involved healthcare providers.
Article 5 – Responsibilities of the Client
The client is required to:
- Provide accurate and complete information regarding their relevant health status.
- Actively cooperate in the provision of care.
- Treat RytelZorg employees with respect.
Article 6 – Quality of Care
RytelZorg provides care in accordance with applicable professional standards and legislation concerning:
- Wkkgz (Quality, Complaints and Disputes in Care Act)
- WGBO (Medical Treatment Contracts Act)
- Wtza (Care and Coercion Act/Healthcare Market Regulation Act)
Article 7 – Liability
RytelZorg accepts no liability for damages resulting from:
- Incorrect client information.
- Circumstances beyond the sphere of influence of RytelZorg.
- Force majeure.
Liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Article 8 – Complaints Procedure
Clients have the right to submit complaints regarding the quality of the care provided. Complaints are handled in accordance with the complaints procedure as described in the Wkkgz.
Article 9 – Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
All agreements with RytelZorg are subject to Dutch law. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
User Agreement
1. Purpose of the Website
The RytelZorg website is intended exclusively for the provision of information regarding our home care services and the organization.
2. Use of the Website
Users are prohibited from utilizing the website for:
- Illegal activities
- Distribution of harmful content
- Unauthorized access to systems

RytelZorg is committed to providing high-quality care. Nevertheless, instances may occur where clients are dissatisfied. In accordance with the Quality, Complaints, and Disputes in Healthcare Act (Wkkgz), every client has the right to lodge a complaint.
2. Discussion of a Complaint
Clients are advised to first discuss a complaint with the relevant healthcare provider or employee of RytelZorg. In many cases, this can lead to a prompt resolution.
3. Filing a Complaint
If not resolved, the client may lodge a formal complaint via: info@rytelzorg.nl. The complaint should be described as clearly and completely as possible.
4. Complaint Handling
- Conduct a thorough investigation of the complaint.
- Inform the client regarding the progress of the investigation.
- Respond to the complaint within a reasonable timeframe.
5. Dispute Resolution Body
Should a complaint not be resolved to your satisfaction, you may refer the matter to an accredited dispute resolution body, in accordance with the provisions of the Wkkgz. This body shall assess the dispute in an independent manner.
6. Confidentiality
All complaints are handled with strict confidentiality.
Client Rights
1. Introduction
As a client of RytelZorg, you possess specific rights as established in the Medical Treatment Contracts Act (WGBO). These rights are intended to protect your position as a client.
2. Right to Information
- Your current state of health.
- The proposed care or treatment.
- Possible treatment alternatives.
3. Consent for Care
The provision of care requires your explicit consent. You are entitled to refuse any treatment or care.
4. Right of Access to Records
You have the right to access your care records and may submit a request to obtain a copy of these records.
5. Right to Correction
Should your records contain inaccurate information, you may submit a request for correction.
6. Right to Privacy
RytelZorg treats your personal and medical data with confidentiality. Sharing occurs exclusively when necessary for your treatment.
7. Retention Period
In accordance with the WGBO, your medical record shall be retained for a minimum of 20 years.
